But Hectyl is, above all, a story. The story of one man, Thibaut Thery a pharmacist, researcher, and passionate advocate of prevention. Founded in 1979, Hectyl’s roots lie in the pharmaceutical world. In 2023, guided by its vision, the brand began its transition toward anti-aging nutri-cosmetics, with a science-based approach and a simple ambition : to help you live better, longer.

A vision born from science

It all begins with a conviction : prevention is better than correction. Thibaut Thery is a pharmacist. He trained in biomedical research between France and Ireland and devoted the early years of his career to studying new antimicrobial agents. In 2019, he completed a university thesis focused on natural and synthetic peptides used to combat food mold. This early work already reflects his ongoing quest : to understand the mechanisms of life in order to better protect them.

But it was a personal observation that changed his path : his grandmother, aged 96 and full of vitality. Her secret ? A simple lifestyle, natural nutrition… and a body that seemed to resist time. Thibaut saw more than just genetic luck in this. He saw proof that aging can be influenced provided you start early enough.

He then focused on the underlying causes of cellular aging : oxidative stress, inflammation, DNA damage… and explored the possibilities offered by nutritional research. Soon, an idea took root : what if everyone could be given practical tools to age better, even before the first signs appear ?

This is how Hectyl’s vision was born : a preventive, science-based approach to preserve cellular youth and strengthen inner balance.
